Newcastle Harness Racing Club is thrilled to welcome patrons back on race nights, albeit in a limited capacity initially. From Wednesday 1 July, the Ross Gigg Lounge will be opening to 56 patrons (owners & members only - click here to become a member). Strict procedures will be in place. Please take note of the conditions of entry below.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
*Patrons must park and enter through the Turton Rd turnstyles and proceed to the northern entrance of the Ross Gigg Lounge on the ground floor of the grandstand.
*BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL whether dining or just visiting the bar. Entry is only open to horse owners and club members at the present time.
*Owners of horses engaged in the meeting have first priority to attend, please call the club to book on 4956 1750 prior to 4pm on Wednesday.
*Bookings open to Members from 9am on Thursday until the 56 spaces are filled.
*Temperature checks will be taken and details noted. All patrons must sign in and records will be kept for 28 days.
*Table bookings are limited to a maximum of 10 people.
*Patrons must remain seated in the Ross Gigg Lounge and social distancing must be practiced. Please use the hand sanitiser provided in the venue.
*All patrons must stay in the Ross Gigg Lounge and no visits to the stables, canteen or socialising with participants is permitted.
*A special offer of $5 entry fee must be pre-paid at time of booking. Any Free Entry passes presented at the gate will be honoured. If you book to attend, please make sure you attend so we can continue to open whilst capacity is limited.
