Newcastle Harness Racing Club can cater for groups large and small. Function menus are created with our guests top of mind, offering simple, classic and popular favourites to suit all tastes. Should you have any specific dietary requests, please don’t hesitate to let us know, we’re flexible and here to help.

Dinner / Luncheon
Our 2 and 3 course dinner menus are served to your table – alternate service. Tables are clothed and set, table centrepieces and / or decorations may be supplied by organiser if desired. Please call us to discuss your menu requirements. Final numbers, special dietary requirements and payment is due one week prior to your function.
Finger Food
Cocktail style, finger food functions are popular for a more casual style night out where the focus is on socialising. Please call us to discuss your menu requirements. Final numbers, special dietary requirements and payment is due one week prior to your function.
Seminars
We know that all seminar functions are different and may require tailored catering. Please feel free to discuss your catering requirements with us, whether it’s just tea, coffee & biscuits or breakfast, morning or afternoon tea or a light lunch. We’ll create a menu to suit your format and budget.
Beverages
When it comes to beverages, we’ve chosen to keep our bar menu simple and affordable. For your function, you may choose for guests to purchase their own drinks or set up a bar tab (with nominated inclusions and/or limit), or we have a beverage package available for beer, wine & soft drinks for the duration of the race meeting (or function). For organisers choosing our beverage package, it must be noted that all your guests must be on the package – no exceptions, and the package is only available when purchased in conjunction with dining. At all times our staff will exercise responsible service of alcohol practices.
