Holding a special place in the hearts of the local harness racing community, what started as a way of honouring the memory of a young man with a bright future in harness racing, the BILL & GLENN TOMLIN MEMORIAL is now considered a feature race on the calendar.
Glenn's father Bill Tomlin was added to the Memorial in 2021 acknowledging his contribution to the local harness industry following his passing in 2019.
The Bill & Glenn Tomlin Memorial is the only event designed specifically for horses trained in the Hunter, Newcastle, Central Coast & Taree regions.
Carrying prizemoney of $15,000 and a sulky donated by Garrards Horse & Hound plus a raft of generously donated prizes, the Glenn Tomlin Memorial is a highly sought after trophy.
